By accessing this web site and/or purchasing any of our services, you are agreeing to be bound by these web site Terms and Conditions of Use, all applicable laws and regulations, and agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site. The materials contained in this web site are protected by applicable copyright and trade mark law.

2. Disclaimer

The materials and services offered on the Space website are provided ā€œas is.ā€ Space makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other guaranties, warranties or assurances including without limitation, implied performance outcomes or financial results, warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights. Further, SpaceĀ does not warrant or make any representations concerning the accuracy, likely results, or reliability of the use of the materials or services offered through its Internet web site or otherwise relating to such materials or on any sites linked to this site.

Space does not warrant specific placement of any press release nor pick up by third parties of any news release on its wire, but will deliver a press release via online distribution methods to make such content available to be repurposed by third parties who discover the content at various Internet locations, both intended and unintended. Guaranteed Coverage means that Space guarantees that your press release will be published and available to view online. Space can make no guarantee with respect to exact media coverage. We are a public relations company providing a service that puts your business in contact with the media. We have no control over what the media may or may not write about your business. As such, SpaceĀ cannot guarantee funding of project by using our services.Ā Personal targeted outreach available in certain packagesĀ is typically anywhere from twenty-five to forty direct pitches to select media outlets and/or reporters.

Space endeavors to disseminate press releases and related news and information promptly and accurately. Any inadvertent errors by Space will be corrected promptly upon discovery, without additional charge, and such obligation to correct shall constitute the sole liability of Space in this regard. Services rendered and sold on our website are good for one (1) individual crowdfunding campaign and cannot be transferred to another campaign, whether a relaunch or a campaign on a different platform or website, unless prior agreements have been reached. If press releases are not distributed within 7 days of the earlier of the (i) date on which you approve your press release or (ii) pay for our services and receive your press release draft (even if you have not yet provided us with final approval of your press release, for reasons other than a delay caused solely by Space), then Space’s service to you concerning such Submitted Material and/or payment shall be considered complete, and we shall have no further obligation to you regarding such Submitted Material or in relation to such payment.

3. Client Obligations

Clients of Space understand and agree to reply to all communications received from Space in a timely and professional manner due to the time-sensitive nature of the work we perform in promoting crowdfunding campaigns. This is especially important with regard to client review, approval and possible editing of the draft of the press release we will write and send to you. Should you wish to see changes made to the press release prior to its submission to the newswires, you must edit the press release or provide information to edit and inform of us of changes immediately by sending us the revised copy directly. Due to the time sensitive nature of crowdfunding, if feedback is not given within 24 hours of a press release draft being sent, press release is assumed to be complete ‘as is’ and will be scheduled for distribution without delay. Clients who receive resources in the form of media contacts lists and other related promotional materials, Space cannot be held responsible for any misuse of said information by client and all material is provided “as is,” with respect to accuracy and/or any faults known or unknown. For clients who purchase our Consultant option, you also acknowledge and agree that you are responsible for following the consulting advice we provide and implement all advice delivered as expeditiously as possible to the maximum benefit in optimizing a crowdfunding project the client has hired us to consult upon. Consultations must be arranged and schedule with Space and client must directly ask for such service to be delivered.

If client chooses to terminate their crowdfunding campaign prior to its predetermined end or if client chooses to terminate our services in promoting their crowdfunding project for any reason, client acknowledges and understands they will not be entitled to any sort of refund. If clientā€™s crowdfunding project is terminated prior to its scheduled end for any reason by clientā€™s crowdfunding platform, client shall not be entitled to a refund but shall be entitled to ongoing crowdfunding campaign promotion of a virtually identical nature to the original project on a different crowdfunding platform.

If client ignores consulting advice dispensed, does not respond to all requests made by us in the delivery of our services and/or otherwise acts in an unprofessional manner, Space reserves the right to terminate all services for said client without the benefit of a refund.

Once engaged in one of our crowdfunding promotion programs, client cannot redirect promotional efforts (including press releases, social media promotion, crowdfunding consulting, etc.) to any site, webpage or Internet destination other than the original crowdfunding project client submitted at the time our services were purchased with the exception noted in the previous paragraph.

4. Refunds and Cancellations

Should we fail to deliver any the crowdfunding promotion services paid for, customer shall be entitled to a refund. Barring our failure to deliver, refunds are not possible due to the fact Space spends significant amounts of time and incurs a good deal of monetary expense immediately upon receipt of your order. Thatā€™s because we get right to work in helping you promote your crowdfunding campaign immediately because the clock is always ticking with crowdfunding projects. The labor-intensive nature of the work we do on initiating your Ā press release writing and distribution asĀ well as personally outreaching and pitching your story,Ā and then continual ongoing effort in advertising your crowdfunding project makes refunds impossible.

Should we need to recover the fees owed for the crowdfunding PR and advertising services we provide, client understands they will be responsible for the original fees for service they may owe as well as any and all related legal fees and court costs.

Why do I need a PR Strategy?

Which package do you recommend for me?

This depends on your project. If you have a small raise or modest campaign goal you can definitely go with the lower packages. If you have a major product you are looking to build a company around and/or large raise goal we definitely recommend you cast as wide a net as possible with our higher tiered packages.

How does the personalized outreach Ā and targetedĀ outreach work?

We take a two part approach on our higher level packages, one is we send your press release across the newswire so it reaches as many newsrooms and media outlets and in front as many eyeballs as possible. The second is we take a more targeted approach and will directly send your press release pitch to media outlets and reporters that we have researched and where we believe your project and story has the best opportunity to be told. For example, if you are running a technology project, we will target the top tech media outlets / reporters, same for design, film, environment, food, business, film, etc. Typically this is anywhere from 25-35+ targeted outreach targets which will be included in a full report provided to you.

Do you guarantee coverage?

YesĀ 100%. We’ve been doing this for awhile. Your campaign press release is guaranteed to be published in online media.

What is included in the campaign consultation?

This is an optional serviceĀ that we recently added to our packages. What this means is that we can offer complete consultation, advice, and more regarding your campaign. Please note that you must formally request this consultation after you purchase the package and we will be happy to schedule time to do so. Please note that this service does include any guarantees and is simplyĀ offered as an additional service in addition to the standard marketing / PR services.

Can you guarantee my campaign will run in X publication?

Unfortunately, this we cannot control this and neither can any other PR agency. ‘Pay to Play’ press coverage is definitely out ofĀ bounds and morally unethical for any legitimate publication. We will certainly try our best to place your story working with reporters to get your story in a preferred publication but we can’t guarantee they will run with your story.

If IĀ work with Space, will you guarantee that my campaign will get funded?

Having an effective PR / media strategy and scoring solid media placements can all greatly help a campaign. However, it is important to note that PR is only simply one important aspect of running a successful crowdfunding campaign. Between building a community, achievingĀ the correct product / market fit, having a story worthy project, campaign page design and layout, possible advertising spend, and setting reasonable campaign expectations and raise goals that align with the project potential are all part of the formula for a successful campaign. Ā Because of those reasons, we cannot guarantee that by using our services your project is guaranteed to get funded or promise to raise an exact number ā€˜Xā€™ of funds, or your press release / campaign page seen by ā€˜Xā€™ amount of people.Ā No PR or Advertising company in the world can make these promises on exact numbers from Silicon Valley to Madison Ave.
